Who We Are
We’re not your average contractors—and we’re proud of that. Hunter Harvey Outdoor Structures was established by two guys who were tired of watching great ideas get watered down by cookie-cutter crews and no-show builders. With a commitment to honesty and transparency throughout the process, we’re here to take your home to the next level.
Our team combines creative thinking with AI-powered design tools to bring bold projects to life across Central Texas. From interior home renovations in Austin to designing a backyard oasis in Dripping Springs, we treat every project like it’s our own.
Meet The Founders
Spencer Lewis and Chris Synoground bring two different skill sets and one united mission: to build smart spaces that clients are proud to call theirs.
-
FOUNDER
Spencer grew up learning the ropes of construction firsthand, working alongside his dad, a seasoned real estate pro turned house flipper. After earning a degree in finance, he spent several years in project management, sharpening his skills in logistics, leadership, and communication. He has grown into a budget and timeline expert. All the while, Spencer stayed close to real estate, investing in and renovating properties of his own. Eventually, it became clear: construction wasn’t just a side hustle—it was the path forward, and he was ready to go all in.
-
FOUNDER
A craftsman by trade, Chris has been building things since the age of 14. He spent his summers grinding in commercial districts, eventually attending school to become a licensed electrician. After relocating to Austin, he dove into custom home building, deepening his experience in residential projects and honing his attention to detail. A move to Oregon sparked a new adventure, starting multiple successful businesses and serving as head contractor on multimillion-dollar homes. Now back in Austin, Chris brings realistic insights and creative energy to every project.
